Team
Yudi brings his passion for creativity and scientific precision to PACT. He has more than 10 years of research and innovation experience in leading research institutes and companies. He holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge in Organic Chemistry and a Chemical Engineering degree from École Polytechnique, Paris. Prior to his PhD, he worked in manufacturing and R&D in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries with patents and high-impact research articles published.

Niels has a passion for Climate Tech and expertise in overseeing expansive projects. He pursued his education in physics and engineering from École Normale Supérieure and the École des Ponts. Previously in M&A advisory, he was involved in transactions worth over $40 bn with experience spanning diverse sectors from industrial to consumer. Niels' multifaceted background equips him to drive PACT forward with a commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Richard is an experienced operations, engineering and manufacturing specialist with over 10 years of start-up experience and 31 years of industry experience across aerospace, research and renewables for companies of all sizes. He has been directly involved in various manufacturing processes, from high-end microelectronics to high-volume roll-to-roll organic solar films. He brings to PACT his passion for building teams and growing businesses, as well as a love for people development.

Cynthia leads PACTs sustainability strategy to ensure our products are supporting brands in reducing their own environmental impacts. She holds an Engineering Doctorate (EngD) in sustainable materials and manufacturing jointly awarded by Cranfield, Exeter, and Warwick University. Her research focused on circular business models for converting industrial by-products into innovative materials. She is a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) and life cycle assessment practitioner with 10 years of experience.

Sustainability Manager
Manni is an expert in textiles and biomaterials, and is responsible for product development at PACT. She completed her BSc in Textile Science and Technology and MSc in Polymer Materials and Engineering at the University of Manchester. Her PhD thesis in Materials Science from University College London (UCL) focused on the design, processing and characterisation of functional biomaterials for biomedical applications.

Senior Materials Scientist
Mitchell is an experienced biomaterials researcher at PACT with expertise in process and component design, continuous manufacturing, and additive/subtractive manufacturing technologies. He holds a BSc in Biomedical Engineering and a PhD in Biomaterials Tissue Engineering, awarded by RMIT, Australia. His research at CMD Biofab3D laboratories was highly interdisciplinary with collaborations from academic, research and industry partners.

Senior Materials Scientist
Jenna brings 17 years of interdisciplinary research and wet lab experience to PACT. She gained her PhD in Engineering focusing on hydrogel biomaterials from the University of Cambridge as part of the National Institutes of Health-Cambridge Scholars Programme. She invented sonolithography during her post-doc at University of Bristol, a technique to pattern airbourne liquid droplets and cells onto a substrate using ultrasound toward bioprinting applications.

Emmanuel provides processing expertise across the business functions and develops PACT's manufacturing processes including process scale-up. Emmanuel completed his BSc in Chemical Engineering from Aston University, Birmingham, before obtaining his PhD in Chemical Engineering at Loughborough University. Emmanuel has a broad range of process engineering experience having worked in industries such as pharmaceuticals, agrichemicals, consultancy, and alternative leather manufacture.

Michael gained his MEng(Hons) in Biomaterials Engineering from Loughborough University. He has experience with a wide range of materials synthesis and characterisation techniques of biopolymers, metals, and ceramics. He assists in product development including customisation, production management, and is responsible for PACT's initial scale-up process development.
